What I'm Consuming, March 2021
Tuesday, March 2, 2021Spotlight
I really love the type of movie where a bunch of journalists try to get to the bottom of a deep scandal. This is based on the true story of the Boston Globe investigating abuse by the Catholic church. A really great movie.
The Last of Us, Part II
This PlayStation 4 game is emotionally draining, scary, and difficult. But it is one of the best storylines I've ever played. It's tragic and helps you realize the different sides to every story that is told. The violence is excessive, but the ending was really satisfying to me. As of the end of the month, I'm really unable to pick up the Playstation again. It's hard to really get into anything after finishing this story.
The Guest List by Lucy Foley
I still love mystery stories. This one was a page turner. It was a spool that somehow continued to keep unraveling.
Derry Girls
This one flies under the radar. It follows a group of nerdy girls living in Northern Ireland. This is clearly one of the funniest shows that I seen in recent memory. I love the characters, especially Erin.
One By One by Ruth Ware
Another good mystery. It ends about how you would think, but it was not predictable. It was a fun, easy read.
